Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Volunteer Inn
Basic boozer, opened-out at some stage to leave a U-shaped bar with the counter area linking both arms (one of which has a pool table). There is also a very modest patio area at the back. Numerous handpumps, but even the solitary one with a Greene King IPA clip was reversed. Still, they had Theakston's Mild (£3.70) on, so things could have been worse.
