This is yet another backstreet survivor in this stretch of road. I thought this was a lovely pub. It's carpeted, which is always a plus for me, with traditional furnishings. The landlady was friendly and welcoming, and the pint of Shepherd Neame late Red was in good shape as well. It's completely opened up now, and I didn't spot any heritage features of note, but I liked it in here. Definitely worth dropping in here if you're doing a crawl of Bromley's backstreet pubs.

J-shaped internally, this is an appealing backstreet pub with a friendly welcome from the landlady. All sorts of framed stuff on the walls, regular perimeter seating, green good quality carpet. A 1950's style dresser breaks up the longer side, there is a fireplace with a rather ornate mirror over. Georgian style obscure windows, rather dimly lit, this feels like a pub from years ago, we enjoyed our stay here very much.
Shepherd Neame beers, they had Late Red on which pleased me, not often seen these days, additionally Master Brew and Whitstable Bay. A surviving back street local unusually among other similar pubs, well worth supporting.

The Anglesey Arms is a back street pub and a Shepherd Neame tied house which i always like going in to.
Once inside there is a single room with the bar facing, there are seating areas running down each side of the bar,the left one is the shorter area,i had a drink in the right side which extends to the rear of the pub, there is very comfy bench seating running down the right side with chairs, the room is carpeted throughout and seemed quite smart and comfortable in my opinion.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Master Brew which went down very well, the other beers were Whitstable Bay and Spitfire.

Food seems to a big draw here with most dishes being quite expensive.
I always enjoy drinking in Shepherd Neame tied houses and i was'nt dissapointed with this one.
