This is a great pub. Have no idea hwere the comments about the food come ferom i have NEVER had a dodgy or miserly meal in here.Infact the food is exceptional here there is a good range on the menu , especially for veggies and would highly recommend the Black Chilli nights they have recently started offering high quality and very tasty indian and middle eastern food. The only place to get this i Ventnor.

Not a bad little pub tucked away at the back of the High Street.3 real ales on with the local Yates Blond in great condition.Dont know if it has been sold since the last comment but all in all a nice pub.

Used to be a great pub with a good atmosphere. Day time meals are miserly with tiny portions.
The pub is up for sale (May, 2007) so may improve with new owners!
