Now The Cricketers. A little bit of bias here - my grandparents used to run the house opposite as a bakery, and I do appear in a few of the Weston CC photos on the walls ... so I like the place. Cleaner fresher than it was and part of a small chain - Rhubarb Inns, see link - that seem to have quite a good philosophy. The beer is well kept - I rate the locally branded Jack O Legs - and the menu good, although quality seems to vary with the chef. It's in danger of going a bit too far from the "local" but still a small pub with some of the old photos and at least they haven't put the staff in uniforms.
