My final pub before the railway station turned to be a disappointment as the Real Ale has been taken off and the handpumps have been removed. The seven illuminated taps advertised two keg ciders, Carling, Stella, Cobra, Guinness and John Smiths Smooth Crap! So the night ended with half of Guinness.
Like other reviews have stated, this reopened pub is really an Indian restaurant with a bar. Though I applaud the owners for keeping the bar open to non diners, the loss of Real Ale means that my only interest in returning here would be to have an Indian meal.
My score is for the "pub" and not the restaurant.

Finally after a few years a decent pub/indian has come back to life. They have 3 real ales and cobra on draught as well as lots of other drinks and spirits. They dont have a beer garden but quite a reasonable size of decking area with tables in the car park where you can relax on a nice summers day. Looks very modern inside compared to a pub. Would highly recommend people to try and drinks are very reasonable price for the area.

After several years of neglect the Railway has re-opened as a Pub/Indian Restaurant , the old multi-room layout has been well utilised to provide seperate drinking and dining areas .
The main entrance is a wide corridor with tall tables and stools to either side , there is a room to the right set up for dining in typical Indian Restaurant decor , the main bar area is straight ahead and is light and airy in a modern style , another room to the left is again laid out for dining , there are a set of stairs leading to an upper floor(not explored).
Usual keg taps and unusually for this type of place 3 Handpulls with Doombar , Bombadier and Sharps Atlantic .
Quiet on my Friday afternoon visit with just a few people sat around the bar having a pint , served by the friendly barmaid .
It might not be a traditional Pub , but at least its been saved and not turned into another Tesco/Co-Op/Spar .
