We arrived here to find an absolutely packed bar area, with a second room which was completely empty.
It seems that the chef (possibly owner also) has a good reputation. But we didn't see any food being served.
The two ales were Clavell & Hind Blunder Buss & Sharp's Doom Bar. But a pleasant surprise to me was the Sandford Orchards Devon Scrumpy.
A large blackboard gave a list of instructions to follow on entry. But these clearly weren't being enforced on this occasion.
But this was the best rural pub we visited in Gloucestershire on this day.
