Requested be closed with reason - Other: I walked past the pub today, it was closed and boarded and the signs removed. A great shame

The Sherborne Arms has closed again. From the look of things, it is unlikely to reopen.
Update - Punch Taverns have sold The Sherborne Arms, and is now likely to be turned into flats.

I'm happy to report that this historic pub is open again, after a period of closure. According to a news report, the pub has a new temporary Landlady, and will be open for race week. The Sherborne Arms opened in the 1840's, and has a skittle alley and pool table. A back street pub with plenty of history, and one of the best pub signs in Cheltenham.
