I went here as a child- until about 8 years ago- it was known to me and my family as the donkey pub- as they had a donkey in a field next to the car park-we always went with an apple for him.
Very sad that this place is now a house-I'm glad it's not been demolished- but we went there the other day- to see if it was definatley the right place I used to go to- and if it's really shut- yes and yes :-(
Had a little cry, it was a really nice place totally off the beaten track.
