Cask was multiple pumps dispensing TT LL. Keg offering of Peroni, Carling, John Smiths, Wingman, Madri, Thatchers Gold, Stella, Carlsberg, Coors, Guinness, San Miguel, Madri.

Large roadside venue. Splits on entrance after car park at the front. Left-hand side is initially carpeted with benches and tall tables before the bar counter along the rear wall on a tile skirt, tall tables opposite and then bare boarded with pool table, dart board and plenty of screens showing sporting action absent sound. Right-hand side sees a continuity of the bar counter along the internal wall. This side, apart from the tile skirt along the bar counter, is carpeted and winds round with regular tables and chairs to the far side that seems to be more set up for diners, remembering this is a GK pub at the end of the day and most herein here were drinkers rather than diners. Felt like the venue was edging me to Xmas with its decor, but then again, I saw the same in a Miller & Carter in Swindon at this exact same point last year at time of visit at end September so maybe now pub prep for Xmas starts at the end of Sept! Ho ho ho.
