This 14th Century coaching house is well worth a visit. The pub is very popular for food, whether it is their bar snacks or dining in the restaurant area. The manageress made us very welcome, as did the locals. This is a GK pub, so was a bit stuck when it came to ordering, we tried the GK Bohemian, which was pretty good.

We tried to visit this pub late on a Wednesday afternoon, to find it closed. As they do not have a website there was no way of knowing this beforehand. I have not rated it as we could not try it. We will not be making a special journey to try again.
