A lot bigger than it looks like from the outside. 5 real ales and food served. The pub has a pool table.

There were bouncers on the door on a recent quiet Tuesday night and there was a friendly atmosphere from the student contingent inside. This is a large T shaped pub with a bar area at the front and some seating and a pool table/table football at the rear. There is a jukebox that was at a reasonable volume considering this is a pub with a sweet vending machine and cuddly toy crane grab. The bar is stocked with standard draught products and one hand pump was unused and the Tribute was off leaving Harveys Best and EPA as the ale options. I went for a pint of Guinness which was well served by a friendly member of staff.
I didn’t have a bad visit, but I cannot see a return and I would avoid like the plague at the weekends.

Not one of Brighton's better pubs, a notch up from a Yates but no reason to make a special effort.
