The Gardeners Arms has a small public bar on the left hand side where there is a bar billiards table. The larger right hand side houses a pool table and dartboard along with a plasma screen for showing Sky Sports. There is a decked summer garden at the rear and some more picnic tables can be found on an unkempt lawn the other side of the pub’s car park. The bar is stocked with standard draught products and I was served a decent pint of Guinness by the friendly governor.
This is a local’s boozer and although I found everyone to be friendly enough I’m not sure that I would make a point of visiting again.
