The Angel is in the quiet back streets of Lyme and not too far from the sea front.
This is a funny looking pub and once inside here it is like going back in time with most of the furniture and decor looking like they are from the 50s or 60s.
I went in a largish room that i think was the bar but was surprised to see there were no pumps on the bar at all,all the beer is taken straight from the barrel.
This is a Palmers tied house and there were a couple of their beers on i had a drink of Palmers best bitter which was very nice the other beer was Palmers Bridport bitter.
There is also a games room with a pool table in it.
This pub is well worth a visit to see what it looks like and also to have a drink of Palmers beer straight from the barrel.
