Visited 30/06/26. Visited previously 20/12/22.
No cask. Single draught offering of Meteor lager from the Alsace region apparently - much more familiar with that region from a wine perspective! Plenty of bottled beer options.
Baranis is down a flight of stairs and is a bare boarded basement venue. The bar counter is against the rear wall, and there is some tall stool seating at the bar counter. A leather banquette along the left-hand wall and a smaller off the right-hand wall facing the bar counter, all serving regular tables with regular chairs the other side thereof. The pétanque activity is on the right-hand side and there is another room on the left-hand side with a traditional table football game. High ceiling, several brightly painted floor to ceiling pillars that break up a small space even further. No obvious screens and a very Euro style pop soundtrack being played at a space filling volume on my brief visit ahead of the venue being closed for a private function.

As Courts, we were regulars here when we were at the Inns of Court School of Law from the mid-'90s to my last visit in 2004, when the local 'spoons (The Knights Templar) closed at 11 o'clock on a Friday evening; beers and dancing 'til 1.30am - happy days!
