E TA left this review about The Pour House

Previously The Ringwood Social Club, the 16th Century building was restored and renovated by a local committee to provide a new pub in an old building, plus a function suite upstairs. There is no garden, just a shared gravel car park at the rear. The interior has been restored in a traditional style, though they have been economical with the materials and workmanship. The single downstairs bar is comfortable, light and airy, and the servery is at one side, large enough and fit for purpose. There is an annoying nauseostalgic jukebox, and the ambiance still feels a bit more social club than pub, so I think they’ve missed an opportunity given the location and history of the venue. The young barman was friendly enough though, and the regulars were tolerant. One ale on, Remedy Oak King’s Ale, plus a standard ‘community’ selection of San Miguel, Doombar (keg), Carlsberg and Thatcher’s Gold. It’s a very good and welcome addition to Ringwood’s pub scene, especially as it’s not a Ringwood Brewery (ie Marston’s) outlet. Worth a visit, though opening times are restricted
