Haddenham Sports & Social Club's bar relaunched as The Whistler in late 2022, offering an alternative watering hole for an ever-expanding village with an ever-decreasing pub population (just The Kings Head and The Rising Sun at the time of writing). As befits a sports club bar, it's heavy on the lager and sports TV, but it does at least offer 2 x 22-pint mini-boxes of Rebellion beer (I had a pint of Lineout on my visit). It's ostensibly a club (membership is £10 a year), but I was informed that they don't enforce this for solo drinkers.
