Bucking Fastard left this review about Mother Kelly's

Recently opened on the ground floor of a block of flats and part of the redevelopment of Tottenham Hale which has changed the area dramatically. The internal space is unbelievably high with massive undressed windows and an industrial feel in brutalist concrete. On a cold day it was necessary to have two electric heater to take the chill off.
There are two long, high tables, some four seater benches and upturned tuns with stools as seating option and there is a vast mural by Zabou to admire. There is some ducting but my eye was drawn to the black piping running along the ceiling and looking suspiciously like the soil pipes from the flats above.I was the only punter inside and the sound of running liquid was disconcerting.Lets hope the plumbing was done professionally.
There are 20 craft keg taps with a wide variety of styles, including a single sparkling cider. On the beer menu ,sours and wild beers are noted seperately giving a choice of 7 and I enjoyed a third of Holy Goat Funk Weapon, described as a mixed culture wild beer at £4.65.There are light bite food options, and the soundtrack was at a sensible volume and well judged.
I had a train to catch from nearby Tottenham Hale but should have stayed longer to sample some interesting and pokey options,at a price.I hope it succeeds ,I assume it will be popular with the young people who live in flats in the area.It needs a crowd inside to create an atmosphere.
