Steve C left this review about Nabucco

On the other side of the road to the town’s Spoons, I was enticed into Nabucco by ‘Bar & Restaurant’ written on the frontage. This is primarily and Italian restaurant, but there is a bar counter with stools up the right-hand wall where six premium keg products are supported. This used to be a branch of NatWest, and the safe vault still remains. In fact it has been turned into a private seating area to accompany open plan seating to the left of the entrance. The kitchen is found up a flight of stairs to the rear and the split-level first floor has been turned into the main restaurant area. The very friendly barman informed me that diners are only really sat downstairs when upstairs is full. This is an interesting building, and apparently the renovation was aired on Homes under the Hammer. Now that I’ve been I don’t plan on returning just for a beer again.
