Husk was the last visit of an extensive crawl of Harrogate so I was pretty battered and thankful of a quiet bar to rest and take stock of the day’s shenanigans. Open plan with some seating, the bar counter runs across the rear wall of this craft bar. I counted ten craft fonts, and the two hand pumps were drawing Track Brewery’s Sonoma and Northern Monk’s A Little Faith. There is more seating advertised for downstairs, as is table football. I found the two barmaids to be very friendly and I enjoyed my visit, although one of our group took issue with his “old wishy washy” pint. I was too pissed to find issue so was happy to slosh it back. I’d pop in again if passing.

A neat and well stocked Craft bar with a further selection in the basement, along with a table football game. I found this bar to be comfortable and welcoming from the two young staff, who were very helpful. They did have an interesting line up for craft beer displayed on a beer board on the right hand side of the bar. The choices were a from lager, cider, lambic, sour, IPA, pale ale and a 14% stout at £6.25 for a third, which works out at £18.75 a pint. Two handpumps serving Track Brewery Sonoma and a Northern Monk Faith. I went for Track beer, which was in good shape.

Update 26 March 2023
The two handpumps have indeed been added, on this visit serving Abbeydale Irish Stout and Brew by Numbers 21. And very nice too.

A little shop conversion craft bar opposite the station, with a bottle shop in the basement. It has a reasonably tidy interior with a bar counter and a couple of beer fridges at the back, serving mainly local and European beers but no cask ale. Prices range from £4.95 to something silly at £16.80.

October 2022
A shop conversion into a craft keg micro close to Harrogate railway station. There are nine keg taps plus an Ayinger ceramic font on the white tiled counter, also two fridges of cans and bottles. There’s a limited number of tables either normal height or rather short. Abstract paintings on dark grey walls. Toilets are downstairs and it appears dog and child friendly. Session strength pints about £5, although half the beers were over 6% and sold in thirds or two thirds for around the same price or a bit more.

Selling two cask beers from February 2023.

An ex shop converted into a small bar with a bottle/can outlet below. Several of the seats in here are from a school, so it's not one of the most comfortable places to sit. Having said that it's a very friendly place. Several keg taps, but sadly no real ale. We'd happily call in again for one again though.
