Sitting in the Brook eating copious packets of crisps to stave off the hunger after finding out the A board curry night wasn’t actually happening, the missus found this place after a bit of Googling. No idea what to expect (if we’d even be let in!) so off we trundled. It does what it says on the tin, a clubhouse overlooking the sports pitches and there’s no entry restrictions. A simple room offering up a jukey, meat raffle and darts. Jumbo cable wheels for tables were a nice touch. Keg only though some mainstream bottled ales in the fridge (Rev James, Newcy Brown) plus Lilleys Lemon and Lime cider in a box. Friendly locals and we got included in the chat which was nice. Good luck to them, hopefully our 15 quid behind the bar helps out
