Just as OB says below. This is a cracking bar, whether you're in for the vinyl or the beer. A very eclectic soundtrack as well including very early Human League, Transmission by Joy Division and some less well known Bowie tracks. 4 handpumps on the bar all badged and whilst my pint of Dark Horse Hetton Pale wasn't to my taste, there was nothing wrong with how it was kept. Despite the DJ and live music, it's never open after 9 p.m. It's a great place and we'll definitely be back.

Now relocated to the edge of the bus station, it’s a single room with the same theme as its previous location round the corner. The record shop is at one end selling vinyl and CDs, the bar counter is at the other, with four pulls today selling two from Bingley, a Craven and a Copper Dragon. Pretty good quality. There’s a mix of seating with traditional chairs, benches and a couple of sofas.
Decor is of course album covers and the like with musical instruments hanging from the ceiling. A DJ appears to perform on occasions and there's live music from the stage regularly.

My new favourite place! Pity I live in Worcestershire.

Arrived on the bus at about 5:30pm and could hear the music and see the people.

This is a record store by day - with a stage suggesting live music - and a real ale bar at the opposite end.

The beers were fanstastic - several classic Yorkshire Cask bitters from less obvious breweries. Top condition.

But it was the atmosphere that made it - a DJ playing mainly 60s mod music to a packed house.

All before the sun had gone down.

Closes early - 9pm.

Could have stayed all evening.
