Hive is a student bar with a couple of televisions for airing Sky Sports and background music that ranges from 1970s disco to modern dance. This large sparsely decorated space is split by a screen that runs down the centre, to the left is a short bar counter on the rear wall that faces some seating and to the right is more seating and a pool table. Standard and premium keg was available from the friendly barmaid. This place isn’t aimed at the likes of me so I’ll not be returning.
