A big club house with the cricket pitch to the side. Divided roughly into a couple of large rooms the counter is towards the back. Four pulls of local beers in extremely nice condition, it is the Yorkshire club of the year for the umpteenth time. Very family friendly.

Hanging Heaton Cricket Club has an entry in the 2021 Good Beer Guide. So, we paid it a visit whilst crawling in the area. CAMRA members are welcome.
A cricket match was in progress, but a heavy rain shower was starting as we arrived and it was about to stop play.
It's quite a large building for a clubhouse, with a large room as you enter where some members were enjoying pizza. There is also an adjacent snooker room and another large room with a bar at the far end of the building.
The 4 real ales were Bradfield Farmer's Blonde & Farmer's Ale, Thwaite's Wainwright & Marston's 61 Deep. Instead, we chose the Lilley's Pear & Raspberry Cider, believed to be from a box.
A fairly friendly place that is worth a visit if in the Dewsbury area.
