Blue Scrumpy left this review about Barracks

Also known as the Lincoln Post Office Sport & Social Club, this club is on the northern outskirts of the city.

I'd enquired in advance as to whether CAMRA members would be allowed in. The lady I spoke to had never heard of CAMRA and in spite of my explanation, they said that they couldn't allow me in due to Covid-19.

Nevertheless, I tried my luck and again managed to confuse the barman by mentioning CAMRA. He'd never heard of them either, but was happy to serve me.

The only handpull clipped had Doom Bar. But there was something obscuring the clip, which may have been there to indicate that it was off. Having already caused confusion, I ended up having a Somersby cider.

The front bar is very simply decorated and welcomes families. Apparently there are other rooms. But I didn't get to see them. All in all, it was disappointing.
