Old Boots left this review about Wygston's House
Grade two* listed mediaeval building with a Georgian frontage/extension and with an elegant largely Georgian style interior at one end, mediaeval at the other. Four hand pulls at one end of the counter with local ales from Charnwood and Church End plus Pedigree and a horseshoe of the usual and other kegs. You might expect it to be expensive and pretentious but the beers are averagely priced (£3.80 for a 4%) and it’s not over the top although I didn’t use the upstairs restaurant.

Blue Scrumpy left this review about Wygston's House
Other than the nearby Wetherspoon's, this was the only place open in this area on our early Sunday evening visit to Leicester.
It's a lovely medieval building, with a number of different rooms and there is a large outdoor area overlooking Jubilee Square.
Charnwood Vixen is the regular beer. A guest was Outback, also from Charnwood. But unfortunately, they no longer stock a real cider. Nevertheless, my Outback was good and they offer a 10% discount on pints or halves for CAMRA members.

Old timbered frontage with bar, rooms to side with fires and comfy chair seating. Real ales in good nick. A little commercialised but nice with good beer.
