A disaster zone – a load of the food was off, what turned up was missing components and most of the staff couldn’t have given two figs, evidenced by the hundreds of glasses piling up at the bar with no effort to actually clear them; it seemed all the dogsbody work was being done by one overworked local lass (who even ended-up cashing-out the tills) whilst the other six staff gossiped amongst themselves or simply disappeared like Macavity. For the record I had a Turtle Bay Caribbean Milk Stout, inevitably served ambient though it's actually a decent beer when done right. Eating-out in Swansea is a fairly dire experience and this place epitomises the pits of SA1. God knows why the locals put up with it.
