Popped back in so I could grab a beer listed in the 1001 Beers To Try Before You Die book. Beware flaky opening times – it was listed as 11am on WhatPub, midday on their Facebook but didn’t open until at least past 12.20 (the guy from the pizza place confirmed that punctual opening isn’t known). Stopped for a swift half of Budvar Nefiltr by BudÄ›jovický Budvar when I finally found it serving.

November 2023
Not on the crawl list but spotted en route and an executive decision was made to stop after the dispatched runner came back proclaiming its wares. The interior isn’t much to write home about, it’s basically a micropub style small narrow room with barely seating for 30 people. There’s no cask here but craftykeg is behind the bar alongside an impressive selection in the fridge, with a really tidy range of Germanic and Benelux region beers alongside craftycans. So an Aecht Schlenkerla Weichsel Rotbier was my poison of choice and very nice it was too. Worth trying out for the forrins in the fridge. Rated 7

Visited a couple of times since - impressive range of keg and bottles. Learned on my latest visits you can either take your beers up to the Pizza place upstairs or vice versa. It is very good pizza - so adds to the experience.

Tiny Bottle Shop/Tap Room - with half a dozen kegs described through the TV Screen. Fridges filled with cans/bottles.

A rare chance to have an Ayinger Celebrator on draught. Plus an unpronounceable german xmas ale in bottle.

Sadly lacking atmosphere with no other punters in and barstaff that didnt engage any futher than immediate serving.

Toilets are Wetherspoon-esque in their distance from where the drinking is done.

Would definitely return for the international choice.

One of our pals decided to pop in here for a beer and glad they did, as l really liked this bar. I went for the Vault City Brewing Pineapple Upside Down Cake, an 8% sour on draught which l found really interesting. I also went for the Deya Steady Rolling Man in a can, which was excellent. Prices in here were up there like most Craft beer venues. l did like this single room bar, I thought it was very trendy and I enjoyed chatting away to the twenty somethings and talking about beer.

Whilst there's no real ale or cider here, there are 6 craft beers, listed on a TV screen behind the bar. There's also a good range of cans and bottles in the fridges.

Seating is both inside and on pavement tables along what is a pedestrianized shopping street. The 6 beers were Yonder Subculture, DEYA Magazine Cover & Texture Like Sun, Unbarred Bueno Shake, Verdant Light Bulb & Siren Santo. My Bueno Shake was very enjoyable. Certainly a decent option, if you enjoy craft beers.

Small bottle shop with 6 keg taps 2 large fridges of very interesting beers and seating on benches and stools along both sides. Not much to say it’s not a pub not even a micro pub but what it lacks in atmosphere it gains in the diversity of interesting beers.

Small bottle shop and taproom. Four keg taps serving on my visit, Plzensky Pilsner Urquell,Ridgeside Equator, Vibrant Forest Cambrian Root and Gipsy Hill Minnow, no real ale. Basic bench seating inside plus a table outside, two double fridges full of multicoloured cans and bottles with a small bar at the end of the shop. Decent enough small space but its just about the beer.
