A friendly wine bar which serves tapas, pizzas and other snack-like food, freshly cooked and fairly good value. It occupies a former shop premises which is now a single long bar from front to back, tiled floor and exposed timbers, quite narrow but surprisingly spacious when you sit down to eat. The young staff are cheerful and friendly, while the atmosphere is pleasant. Three ales on – Rebellion IPA, Marlowe Red and Fruity, and Rebellion Lager (OK, not an ale but a real lager and pretty good as it goes). The beers were in good condition, though the wine list was a bit disappointing. I’d be very happy to come back here to eat and drink.
