Steve C left this review about Templars

Templars is an open plan rectangular bar with a serving counter on the right wall that supports standard keg. There are some stools along the bar and tables and chairs in the left, including on a raised strip along the large front windows. BT Sport is advertised, but Magic TV was providing some background music during a recent early Thursday evening visit. There is a dartboard. I found the guy working the bar whilst holding a baby to be friendly, but the woman was not so much. I’ll not be returning here.

Surprisingly well-done bar which is now home to the local characters from the estate, many of whom were standing outside making noises akin to the monkey enclosure at Marwell Zoo and who all looked like either Jamie Vardy or Alan Brazil. A single room with grey walls, metro tiling on the lower, a block wood arch near the bar for no obvious reason and a dart board. One unused pump so perhaps thankfully a half of Heineken did for me. 2 quid as well, not a bad price these days. The lady in charge was efficiently pleasant and, I suspect, incredibly ferocious when she needs to be. I’ve been in worse and was allowed to sup my drink in peace, something I wasn’t confidently expecting when I first sat down.

Part of the Templars Square Shopping Centre, this is a squat rectangular room entered from front right with the bar immediately to your right. Plenty of seating options of various heights including a raised wooden section along the window with sofas at either end. The two ale options were GK IPA and something called 'Templars House Ale' which was a steal at £2.25 a pint, albeit a little bland and they also offer Wetherspoons-type meal deals, with Curry Thursday, etc. It's nice and new inside as you'd expect, however the clientele is merely an overspill from the William Morris and the demised Nelson and included such luminaries as man with tattoos on head and man with dyed-red hair.
