Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bunny Hop

Friendly micro-pub between Eastwood and Heanor, and handy for Langley Mill station. Unfussy furniture and decoration in the single seating area, but there is also a small patio at the back. I found four of the six handpumps being used, with a couple of Thornbridge ales, Ashover's Centennial and Shipstones Gold Star (£3.00).

Corner pub with one large room with the bar to the left. Quite busy on Saturday afternoon mainly with locals. Decent selection of real ales which means a revisit is likely.

I arrived just on opening time, so had the place to myself with plenty of time to look around and chat with the server. Micropubs have really taken off in this area, with four in Eastwood and three in Heanor. It seems that the Railway Tavern along the road is unlikely to reopen, with general repairs as well as the roof seen as insurmountable financial burdens for any prospective owner, so this place is filling a niche. There are six hand pumps on the small bar (see photos) and a plethora of cider polypins on shelves nearby. There are also some fairly standard keg offerings, including Carling, which surprised me. Apparently an odd keg was ordered for the opening, but it sold so quickly that it became a regular. I don't know what the founders of the micropub movement would make of that!

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Bunny Hop

A decent Micropub serving up to six ales, with a choice of five on our visit. We went for the Black Iris Snake Eyes, which seemed to be a popular choice with the locals and also Westgate Brewery Crafty Gold. The communal toilets upstairs was off putting as I thought I had walked into the ladies by mistake. The pub had good atmosphere and music is played most weekends in the marquee, out the back. This was the second Micropub to open in the locality after the Redemption in Heanor.

The Bunny Hop is a micro pub that is situated just off the main road through Langley Mill.
Once inside there is a small single oblong shaped room with a small bar to the front left, the seating is normal tables and chairs.
There were five real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Burton Bridge Golden Delicious, which went down very well, the other beers noted were Burton Bridge Pharhoe and beers from Dancing Duck, the othe rreal ales will be listed when i find my notes.
There was decent background music playing and the pub was quite busy on my Saturday dinner visit with a decent crowd of locals who did not seem like beer buffs.
I really took to this pub.
