A new wine bar opened in Rochdale on the 25th June. It's in an old cellar, so bare brick walls and a curved brick ceiling. There's also a very low arch from the main room into the bar. No draught beer of any kind although they do have bottles. They specialise in wine and gin and the glass (or two) of Malbec I had was a very decent wine. There's a small snug for just 2 people at the rear of the main room and a small raised area in the bar which can be used as a stage. It was very busy and buzzy on Saturday night, but we'll see how it does on a wet Tuesday in February. Best of luck to them though and we'll certainly be in again.
