Steve C left this review about Silver Hind

There was a very sedate atmosphere in the Silver Hind when I visited on a recent Tuesday afternoon. This is an affluent village with an aging population so it wasn’t surprising to find members of the older generation dining in this food led pub. The interior is L shaped with light wood furniture and fixtures with white painted walls. I didn’t spot a television, but there was some very low background music playing off a CD. To the right rear is a conservatory and out the front is some café seating behind a small pebbled parking area.
I didn’t read through the menu, but I did note that the three hand pumps on the bar were drawing Ringwood’s Best, Pedigree New World and Thwaites Lancaster Bomber. The limited keg selection was Carlsberg, Kronenburg, Guinness and Thatcher’s Gold Cider.
The friendly woman serving made me and my family feel very welcome and as the only real pub in the village I would return if in the area.
