The pub has a quite a recent name change from New Regent with a very blue exterior to the Regent Bar with a more down to earth colours. The interior has not changed. The interior is still traditional with the bar taking up left side. There are 2 poles in the middle of the floor, which are supports for the upper storeys of the building. These have been covered and utilised to give a standing support for customers. There is Tennent’s lager on tap with Caledonian Best.
