Once a very early prototype 'gourmet' burger chain, the original outlet - and local institution - having been founded in Hampstead's Heath Street in 1972 and long closed; the one remaining branch is in London's Covent Garden.
This wasn't as good as the Hampstead branch, but I came here a couple of times in 1993 and the burgers were good - the likes of GBK, Byron, Honest etc. would arrive years later.
Reopened in November 2017 as an American bar called Hanks.
