hondo . left this review about The Vault
Quirky little bar in an archway underneath tower bridge. A full length window is almost in the river.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Vault
Compact bar in the shore arch (aka Horace Jones Vault) of the southern approach to Tower Bridge, opposite the historic Engine Rooms. The main feature is the full-height window at the far end directly overlooking the Thames, but there is a also very interesting collection of old photographs showing the bridge's construction. Limited amount of seating. No real ale, so I went for the Meantime London Pale Ale (a whopping £2.85 for a half). Overall, OK to visit once to take a look.
