This is mainly a very good tapas restaurant, but they're happy to serve drinks at quieter times. Very nicely decorated in typical Spanish style. Most of the staff are Spanish as well. I can vouch for the fact that they stock some very nice red wines. It's not a pub, but it's a nice place to eat.

Newly opened Spanish Tapas and wine bar in the Northern Quarter and like it's counterpart on Deansgate there was no problem sitting at the bar just for a drink
