Alan Winfield left this review about The Sporting Falcon

The Sporting Falcon was a largish 60s built pub that was situated on the rough langley estate.
Once inside i went into a large basic bar, there were other rooms but i did'nt look into these.
The pub used to be a Wilsons tied house but by the time i got round to doing this pub there were no Wilsons beers on the bar, there were no real ales on either, the two keg beers were Bass Special and John Smiths smooth,i had a drink of the Bass Special which turned out to be not that special.
There was a decent amout of people in the bar and most seemed a bit on the rough side.
The pub was a good walk from the middle of Middleton but i thought it was well worth it to do a pub like this.
Sadly this pub has now been pulled down and there is now nothing on its site.
