Enjoyed our visit to this JDW with the choice of ales greater than some of their outlets. Chose beers from Three Castles, Sadlers and Lymestone, all good. Smaller than most and has a friendly local feel to it.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The William Tyler (JD Wetherspoon)
Standard shop-conversion 'spoons, with the usual furniture and decor and just a couple of booths along one side and a fake kiln to add a bit of interest. However, notably busy early on a Tuesday evening. With quite a few duplicates, there was not much of interest from the two banks of five handpumps, of which the Lymestone Stone Cutter (£2.19) was probably the pick of the bunch.

This is a smaller Spoons than average and more recent than most going back to the start of 2012. Despite previously being a Woolworths I wasn't tempted to steal anything. Inside it's a square room with the bar on the left and some mirrors and books on the right. The furnishings and decor are better than average.
The bar has two sets of five hand pumps but with GK IPA & Abbot doubled up, two ciders and Doom Bore this just left Lancaster Admiral Archer, Everard's Original and Coach House Gunpowder Mild. I went for the Everard's Original which was in first class condition.
This is a pleasant enough Spoons but it's a shame they can't sustain a better range of beers.

Single roomed Wetherspoons in former shop on busy high street. Usual packed in Wetherspoons square tables & chairs in rows.
It being a standard shop the interior has little character, howver they have made the effort with bits of brickwork and other fittings, including the ceiling pictures it make it slightly different from standard.
Only 2-3 beers being a poor offering compared to their usual range, but the quality was good and service seemed fine
