The Fairway Inn is very much a food led pub with pizza oven on the end of the bar before an ice cream cabinet. This is a Holts pub so their keg was available alongside Bitter from both hand pumps. There was a bit of crap background music playing but little else was happening during my recent Monday evening visit. This was my last pub of a crawl around the area so it was nice to have a bit of quiet time to take stock before trudging to the local Chinese opposite the Premier Inn a short walk away.

A large Holts pub on the very busy Broadway. There's a beer garden at the front right on the road, so carbon monoxide poisoning is a possibility. Inside are 3 distinct area, one of which is mainly for diners, although the whole pub was given over to diners on my Friday, early evening visit. It was very busy, so not much chance to have a good look around. Two handpumps on the bar serving Holts Bitter and Two Hoots. The bitter was in good nick. It's still a decent pub is this, but there's not much else in the area to back it up.

The Broadway is a large pub in the new moston area of Manchester.
When i visited this pub it was a Whitbread tied house and there were a few different rooms inside the pub i went in the lounge whice was a decent enough room.
There was only one real ale on here this was Chesters bitter and this was a decent drink.
This pub was bought by Joseph Holts brewery several years ago and it is still run by that brewery today.
