This is a proper pub, not food orienated (although I think they may do a bit), not themed, not pretentious, just good beer!
It's probably a bit of a local's pub, but it doesn't have an atmosphere about it like some of them. If you're after a proper boozer it's certainly one of the better ones in the central Nailsea area.

I took over the pub in March 2005, the 2004 landlord is no longer associated with the White Lion. It is now exactly as you would expect it to be... a friendly, warm and welcoming traditional local that serves 3 excellent real ales along with a great selection of lagers and ciders.

I was a regular at the white lion in nailsea, i found out that the pub had been taken over by a new landlord in 2004, i have seen and spoken to the landlord and was not intrigued by his attitude, he wasnt the politest of people, he had a bad attitude
