Quinno _ left this review about Coppa Club (Great House Hotel)

The Great House has been vaporized and this modish open-plan space is simply unrecognisable. Two ales, Loddon Ferrymans (dire) and Hoppit. Rugby on the telly and upper middle-class Minnies posing on the soft furnishings. Whilst it’s good to see it operate more as a bar, the cellaring needs sorting out ASAP before all their ale-drinking customers die of enhanced gut-rot.

Making a bit more of an effort with the beer, advertising two cheap(!) Rebellion ales plus Doom Bar. Your mission is to actually find someone at the bar to serve you.

April 2011
A big old hotel, which has a rambling timber-beamed bar (check at reception to see if it's actually serving though, it keeps odd hours). It serves a fair pint of Loddon (either Hoppit or Ferrymans Gold; used to London Pride) for £3.80. There's a very large and impressive beer garden to the rear which backs onto the Thames footpath. No real reason to head for here when you've got the Bull in the village but if you're on a riverside wander it may be worth having a look if you're feeling rich.
