Fairly nondescript Irish bar in the backstreets of Waterloo. There's an upside down skiff over the bar and a few barrels hanging from the ceiling, but in general it's one plain rectangular room. It had only just opened at 2 p.m. on my Monday afternoon visit, so there were only two of us in the bar. The barmaid was friendly as was the only other customer. No real ale of course so I had a half of fizzy stuff. The background music was Abba rather than Irish music. I did suggest that they change the name to Flanagans Abba bar as the barmaid was clearly enjoying singing along. The bar doesn't seem to have any social media presence which may be why it's so quiet.

An Irish themed pub as you may imagine. A single long room with the bar to your right on entering. It looks a lot like a social club more than pub as you enter. I couldn't see any real ale though after talking to a bloke who looked like Ted Moult I was informed that the Guinness was 'spot on'. Also, the Facebook link below seems to be for a chippy on the main drag.
