As described by Blackthorn below, this night club-style establishment has a rather feeble cocktail bar at the front. When we asked about beer we were directed to the outside courtyard at the rear which also had a bar, this one with three keg lagers on tap though it was damp, cold and uninviting. The young foreign staff were over-bearing and unhelpful, the décor was irritating and the ambience was menacing. As earlier suggested, avoid.

This is very much a trendy cocktail bar, certainly not your traditional pub. In fact there was nothing served on draft, and only a small selection of bottled lagers listed on the menu. No beer or cider at all. There’s a mixture of seating inside, with a few low and long sofa’s and some copper topped smaller tables. There is also a courtyard garden.
The cocktails seemed a little pricey at £6.80 a pop. For that I would have expected a little theatre, with some Tom Cruise style shaking and stirring. What we got was a couple of guys studying a list of ingredients and discussing amongst themselves what needed to be done next. One of the ingredients in my cocktail even got swapped as they were out of stock. I’d never heard of either of them, so I’ve no idea if it affected the end result or not, but it would nice to have been asked.
Avoid, unless you’re after an expensive and trendy cocktail bar.
