An L-shaped pub which wraps around West Street and High Street North and where former Chelsea striker Kerry Dixon got into a scuffle a few years back. This is something to forget for all you purists, with arguing tradesmen on the steps outside, football on multiple screens inside, drunken simpletons attempting conversation at the bar, overloud blaring contemporary R&B music and a disinterested Eastern European barmaid (I didn't blame her). Awful, just awful - give it a miss.
