The Coach and Horses is situated on the main road through Draycott.
When i first went in this pub it was a Whitbread tied house with keg beers on the bar,the pub attracted younger drinkers in the early 80s.
The pub has had a makover but still retains two seperate rooms, the lounge to the left is oblong in shape and runs to the rear of the pub,the floor is bare boarded and the seating is comfy pew type benches and chairs, the ceiling is beamed, the bar to the right is about half the size of the lounge, this room has narrow wood tables,a pool table and darts board.
I had a drink in the lounge which was quite comfortable.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Neddy Town ale, which is Ringwood Boondoggle but the landlord said he dry hops it himself, this was a very nice drink, the other beer was Gk Abbot.
I had a good long chat with the landlord who said the pub does live music in the evenings and has different guest beers on the bar.
I was surprised how nice this pub was.
