Soup Dragon left this review about Corrie Hotel

A detached undressed stone early Victorian hotel, with dormer windows. It has a sea-view and a lovely beer garden over the road.

The hotel as an intergral bar at the rear for non-residents and a small lounge bar. I went into the non-residents bar, called the Walker's Bar. This bar is a square room with the serving bar tucked up the corner, which also served the lounge bar. It has wood panelled walls, with white ceiling and blue carpet, along with a wood stove. Ecclectic stuff adorned the walls, including antlers, old golf clubs, plates and mountaineering photos. There is a pool table. The TV wasn't on and there is a jukebox, though this wasn't on either. The service was very friendly and there was no other clientele. They do food, but i didn't eat, so can't comment on that.

Beer; all keg, no real ale - the Belhaven Best was fine.

A basic kind of bar really as regard beer choice, but still worth a stop-off, especially if it is a warm day and you can sit in the beer garden
