Thank god for Spoon's! After a few hours touring the local pubs and being subjected to endless pints of Worthington's or Coors it was a relief to finally see a beer choice! There was Strathaven Ebony, Nethergate Old Growler and Redemption Urban Dusk. I could complain that all three were dark ales but I didn't care. They were a beacon of light to me! I tried all three and they were well kept. As for the pub, a pretty standard Spoon's. I had a meal here about 10 years ago and it looked the same. Worth a visit if you are in the area. Trust me, have a tour and you will end up here!

William Own was a former mayor of Haverfordwest. The pub named after him is a conversion from a shop and latterly a hotel. The front part of this place consists of several areas with the bar on the left then at the rear there is what looks like a modern extension which is a single open plan area with low tables and chairs that leads to a decent sized patio.
The bar has two sets of five hand pumps which had GK IPA & Abbot doubled, Doom Bore, Glamorgan Cwrw Gorslas, Butcombe Brunel Atlantic IPA, Quantock Plastered Pheasant, Tring Side Pocket For A Toad and Lancaster Black. I went for the Brunel IPA (£2.19) which was in good nick.
This one is GBG 2017 listed and seemed a decent enough Spoons.

The William Owen offers the usual Wetherspoon's offerings in the centre of town. There are two smaller rooms in addition to the main bar area and a rear courtyard. On my recent visit the pub was a little short of guest beer options to go alongside the usual Greene King beers. Visit if you are in the area and like 'spoons pubs.
