I can confirm that this one is no longer a Lloyds bar. It is however a part of a horrible modern shopping centre and is fairly typical of that type of outlet. It's a single storey open plan room with an Island bar that is rather unhelpfully cramped in on one side. It was doing a fair trade at midday on a wet Saturday afternoon.
It was difficult to see all the beers on due to one side of the bar being obstructed. I did notice the Scottish JDW Trio Of Doom, Stewart Jack Black, Windswept Wolf, and Orkney Dark Island. I went for a bottle of the Green Devil IPA (£2.99). It's not the worst shopping centre Spoons I've been to.

Following a refurbishment the Newyearfield is now a Wetherspoons. The kitchen has been extended, dance floor removed and there is no more music

A huge, square shaped Lloyds No. 1 bar/diner, this is just what you’d expect from one of the chain’s pubs. Incorporated into Livingston New Town’s main shopping and leisure complex, it is convenient for the shops, cinemas, night clubs and sports centres nearby, and for buses and Livingston F.C.’s football ground. There is an impressive range of beers on draught, including three real ales, and efficient service, for drinks at least, is provided from the well staffed central island bar. There is also a paved outdoor seating area with umbrellas/parasols sheltering the tables. Unlike other reviewers, I didn't find anything to complain about here, but I just found it rather ordinary and nondescript.

This used to be Chicago Rock Cafe. Was poor then, and has not been improved much. Straight across the way from another Wetherspoons, not up to much!

went into the new Lloyds no 1 to grab some food after xmas shopping with my girlfriend, 20 minutes after placing my order and paying for my food the waitress came over and said that what my girlfriend ordered was not available, after choosing another two things that the manager said was unavailable i asked what was. to which i was told almost everything on the menu, i said appart from the last three things we tried to order. to which i was told that all food is sold subject to availability, i said he had an atitude problem and that why didnt they tell me when i paid for it at the bar. the manager said i could leave, i asked for my money back and he demanded the waitress to remove our drinks from our table(she was very appoligetic and said he had been like that all day). on the way out he swore at me and said i was banned. so all in all really nice job been done with the refurbishment but customer service is appalling from the manager!!!

Chicago Rock has now closed and it is believed that it will be replaced aroung Eastertime by a Lloyds No1.
