E TA left this review about Foresters Arms

A Victorian town pub that has been renovated inside. Outside, it has the look and feel of a normal estate house, overtaken by the development of other houses around and nothing by way of garden. The single long bar now feels modern, light and airy with homely fittings and a light tiled floor, the atmosphere helped by the jukebox. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the locals tolerant. There was only one ale on, Castle Rock Harvest Pale Ale, which took an age to pour and settle, but was tasty and well kept – worth waiting for. Nothing spectacular, just a good decent local, worth a visit when passing.
