Found it clean and nice the landlady was very nice told us they had not been long in it would call back if ever in the area

You could be forgiven for thinking you had walked into a Wetherspoons when you walk in here , dirty overflowing tables , unfriendly staff and the usual shabby bunch of dropouts for customers . 3 handpulls only 1 on Bass and it was awfull . One of the worst pubs in Wellington and thats saying something

This place has a huge sign above the bar that says “Try our award winning cask ales”. They certainly haven't won any awards for their cask ale and the selection on the bar hasn't won that many either. They now have three handpumps Greene King IPA, Everards Tiger and Bombardier, ALL three turned round, pathetic. The clientele haven't changed either, it's still a kiddies playground. It's better than it was, but that's not saying much.
